Human Meat in China

Policemen and a Palestinian morgue worker are reflected in the door of a freezer as body parts from a member of the Abu Nejim family, whom medics said were killed by an Israeli air strike on Jabaliya refugee camp, are prepared for burial at the hospital in Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip August 4, 2014. A seven-hour truce under which Israel would unilaterally hold fire in most of the Gaza Strip went into force on Monday and Palestinians immediately accused Israel of breaking the ceasefire by bombing a house in Gaza City. Gaza officials say 1,796 Palestinians, most of them civilians, have been killed and more than a quarter of the impoverished enclave's 1.8 million residents displaced. As many as 3,000 Palestinian homes have been destroyed or damaged. Israel has lost 64 soldiers in combat and three civilians to Palestinian cross-border shelling that has emptied many of its southern villages. A revolting news was reported on Monday by the Web site World News Reporter, claiming that human meat is being sold openly in China and Taiwan.
The report, accompanied by gory imagesof chopped body parts, identified the city of Tiongkok as where human meat parts are sold, similar to poultry sold by parts such as thigh, leg, breast or wings. It said the costliest meat is that of females, specifically their breasts.
However, many readers who read the article think it is a hoax, and even noticed the very bad grammar of the story.
Alex Delarge said only an idiot would believe in such a news article, while Nica Alday pointed out that the woman in the photo doesn't even look Chinese.
Meanwhile, another Web site, Snopes.com, also debunked an Internet hoax story of dead babies or fetuses being sold for $50 to $70 in Taiwan. To make the story believable, the article was accompanies by a photo of a man eating what looks like a cooked infant.
The Web site said both Scotland Yard and the FBI investigated the photo and it identified the man as Zhu Yu, a Chinese performance artist who actually staged the conceptual shocking image titled Eating People at a Shanghai Arts Festival in 2000.
Since then, the photo has been included in several art exhibits and included in the Beijing Swings documentary of a TV show aired in the UK in 2003 over Channel Four. Here is a clip from that docu.

Baby Meat Today

As the world finds itself within a new millenium, many infants find themselves uncooked. There just isn't a market for baby meat in today's society. However, market researches believe that there will be a wild spurt of baby meat popularity in 2015, when people realize just how obnoxious, yet delicious babies really are.
A growing culinary trend is the use of baby fat in cooking. It has a high melting point and is low in trans-fat and saturated fat, making it an ideal substitute for lard or shortening in baking.
Baby liver is a good substitute to foie gras in the countries, where it is forbidden (mainly due to ethic reasons). It is prepared similarly to the French delicacy.

7 Of The Mistakes Both Men And Women Make While Dating Online

7 Of The Mistakes Both Men And Women Make While Dating Online

shutterstock_138047696

Let’s face it: much of your Match.com time probably takes place after 11 pm on a weeknight while you’re just in underwear and eating Ben & Jerry’s straight from the pint while flirting with attractive strangers. Because of this, it can be easy to forget that the goal of your pursuit is to actually meet people in real life and for that meeting to be successful.
That’s hard work, though.
Fortunately, you can instantly enhance your online dating life without having to leave your house by making sure you haven’t fallen prey to these seven common mistakes in online dating:

1. You’re lying or misrepresenting yourself.

It’s common for people to post pictures on their profiles that flatter them but look nothing like how they really look in real life. That’s all well and good as long as you never meet that person, but isn’t that kind of the point? How can you have a successful first date with someone if you don’t look like who he agreed to meet? Change your picture to one that looks like you and you’ll attract people who are interested. You’d certainly expect the same courtesy of others.
A lot of people misrepresent themselves in other ways, too. For example, if you are a smoker who has no intention of quitting, make it clear on your profile that you smoke — you want a partner who’s okay with that. Do you really want to go to the trouble of meeting someone who won’t be interested he know’s the truth?
If someone is going to immediately lose interest when the real you emerges, the entire pursuit becomes a waste of both people’s time. Refrain from other needless lies like saying you spent your weekends climbing mountains or running marathons when you actually spend 99 percent of them out drinking with your friends.
You are not online dating to attract as many people as possible — you’re there to attract someone who’s right for you, which will never happen if you misrepresent yourself. Confidence is one of the most attractive traits a person can offer, so get out there and be unapologetically you.

2. You’re not disclosing your intentions.

People are online dating for all kinds of different reasons. Maybe you just got out of a long-term relationship and you just want to get back in the game but aren’t looking for something serious or maybe, you’re looking for Mr. Right. Whatever it is, it’s not a bad idea to be explicit about it. This will show confidence because you’re not afraid of the rejection, and it acts as an automatic filter for people who aren’t looking for the same things as you are.

3. You’re airing your dirty laundry.

We all have relationship baggage. It’s one thing to be honest about what you’re looking for and another to publicly announce that you would rather not date a cheating b*tch again. People like to surround themselves with positivity and are turned off by those who seem to have issues to work out. Plus, writing something on your profile about a past relationship shows an incredible lack of social tact, which is unattractive. If you can’t write your profile or get through a first date without mentioning your ex, you might need to take some time to yourself before trying to navigate the dating world.

4. You’re not being specific enough about yourself.

In another effort to cast a wide net, you omit quirky things about yourself in your profile like that polka band that you’ve traveled to see a dozen times, your love for World of Warcraft, your addiction to reality TV or your position as president of the Cyndi Lauper Fan Club.
Obviously, you don’t need to post the most embarrassing things about you for the world to see,  but if it’s something that most of your social circle knows and is a big part of who you are, you should put it on your profile. The right person will love those things about you.
Common areas of “not enough information syndrome”:
Musical preferences. Instead of saying “I listen to everything,” try being specific. You’ll stand out from the crowd and instantly have a more interesting profile.

Hobbies. If you have trouble with this, spend a few days, including a weekend and weekdays and write down everything you do in your spare time. You might not realize that you spend 2 hours reading blogs on Saturday mornings or an hour on the phone on Sundays catching up with friends. What you do with most of your time says a lot about what’s important to you. Let dating prospects know about it.

Generic-isms. Certain portions of your profile do not list specific things, like hobbies or music, but instead, provide a sense of who you are. Whatever you do, make those parts of your profile stand out. Instead of “there’s a lot more to me than meets the eye,” say something about a specific quality that many people don’t know about you.

5. You’re narrowing your search too much (women).

When you first start online dating, you’ll be overwhelmed by the possibilities “you mean I can filter for ONLY guys who are taller than 6′ 2″, who are Catholic, who like dogs, hate cats, have green eyes and blonde hair, who don’t smoke and have never been married and don’t have kids?!” Yes, you can, but this doesn’t mean your should.
Have you ever ended up dating someone who you never thought you’d date because he didn’t fit your criteria? If so, you probably got to know him and realized that you were great together, even if he wasn’t exactly what you thought you wanted on paper. Next time you’re online, try to keep an open mind by getting rid of some or all of your filters and see what you find. You might be surprised.

6. You’re not narrowing your search enough (men).

Men and women definitely date online in different ways. While women tend to be too choosy, men tend not to be choosy enough. Think about what compels you to send someone a message. If your only criterion is that she is hot, start narrowing your search. “Attractive” can only take you so far in a relationship with someone. If you can’t handle being around her because she is too annoying, loud, quiet, intellectual or dumb, then the whole endeavor will be a waste of your time.

7. You’re getting distracted.

People embark on online dating with the best intentions to find a partner. But, then the emails start pouring in. You go on a date with a perfectly decent and attractive person, but you received four new emails while you were on that single date! How can you commit to this person, when an even better one might land in your inbox tomorrow? Next thing you know, you’ve been online dating for a year and you haven’t gone on more than 2 dates with the same person.
I know it’s difficult, but keep your goal in mind. Why did you sign up for online dating in the first place? What were you looking for? If you’re still looking for the same thing, evaluate your process and decide whether that will get you closer to your goal. You won’t have the chance to meet every eligible person in the world (or even your entire city) before deciding with whom to pursue a real relationship, so learn when to stop the dating conveyor belt.

Twitter tweets start to sing
SAN FRANCISCO: Twitter began letting people instantly listen to music and other audio by clicking on tweets from the popular messaging service.

The new Twitter Audio Card feature, launched in partnerships with SoundCloud and Apple's iTunes store, will allow users to stream audio live from the Twitter app.

Audio Card works on mobile devices powered by Android or Apple software.

"We're just beginning to test the Audio Card and plan to make it available to more partners and creators in the future," the San Francisco-based firm said in a blog post.

About 60 Twitter users were offered Audio Card at its launch -- including the White House, NASA and Coldplay -- and newly added members will be listed by @TwitterMusic.

"Many more musical artists and creators will be able to share exclusive, in-the-moment audio to millions of listeners on Twitter," it added, without saying when new users would join.

Audio Card is designed to let people continue exploring Twitter while listening to streaming music.

The launch was marked by the band Foo Fighters, who tweeted the official release of their new single, which could be heard in iTunes by clicking on a link in the message.

Song offerings from iTunes were limited at launch, while SoundCloud boasted a wider variety of audio content.

Musicians David Guetta and Chance The Rapper sent tweets from their respective profiles, @davidguetta and @ChanceTheRapper, with songs that could be played through SoundCloud. – AFP

Twitter 'source of all evil', says top Saudi cleric
RIYADH: Twitter is nothing more than "a source of lies" and evil, Saudi Arabia's top Muslim cleric said, in comments that sparked lively debate Tuesday on the microblogging site.
"If it were used correctly, it could be of real benefit, but unfortunately it's exploited for trivial matters," Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh said on his "Fatwa" television show broadcast late Monday.
Twitter is "the source of all evil and devastation", the mufti said.
"People are rushing to it thinking it's a source of credible information but it's a source of lies and falsehood."
The social media platform is popular among both men and women in ultra-conservative Saudi Arabia, where some supported the mufti's views but many others objected.
"This is why I will repent, and close my account to distance myself from this great evil," one Twitter user wrote with apparent sarcasm.
"Respected sheikh, how can you judge something without using it?" another post asked.
But a supporter of the sheikh wrote: "I swear the mufti has spoken the truth; the evils of Twitter are many."

Google launches new email service dubbed 'Inbox'
NEW YORK: Google Inc launched an email service called "Inbox" on Wednesday that will better organize emails and display information such as appointments, flight bookings and package deliveries in a more user-friendly way.

Google said it was sending out invitations to selected Gmail users to try out the new service. Users can also email the company at inbox@google.com to get an invitation.

For now the new service is being provided alongside Gmail, which was launched in 2004. It will be available on the Web as well as on Android smartphones and iPhones.

"Inbox is by the same people who brought you Gmail, but it’s not Gmail: it's a completely different type of inbox, designed to focus on what really matters," the company said in a blog post.

Google said Inbox displays real-time updates to emails - for example, showing the delivery status of items bought online.

It also shows reminders in a more accessible way that allows users to more easily keep track of chores and appointments.

The company said the new application also enhances features that are already available in Gmail that allow users to view purchases and bank account statements grouped together.

Apple's good and bad news

Apple's good and bad news

Apple's good and bad news
NEW YORK: Apple Inc forecast a strong holiday quarter after a better-than-expected 16 percent jump in iPhone sales, and the strongest growth in Mac computer shipments in years helped the company surpass Wall Street's targets.

The company on Monday projected stronger-than-expected revenue of $63.5 billion to $66.5 billion in the December quarter, when new iPads and iPhones vie with rival devices from Microsoft Corp and Amazon.com Inc for consumers' holiday outlays.

Shares of Apple rose 1.3 percent to about $101.10 in after-hours trade.

But sales of the iPad, which helped launch the mainstream tablet market in 2010, slid for the third straight quarter. A gradual decline in tablet demand worldwide has worried investors already concerned with Apple's slowing growth, who are awaiting a new device that can energize its expansion.

Sales of Apple's tablet slid more than 7 percent from the previous quarter to 12.3 million units, and were down 13 percent from the year-ago period.

Some investors hope that Apple's recently forged alliance with International Business Machines Corp, intended to drive tablet and phone sales to corporate customers, may help reverse a decline in sales of the tablet device.

Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said in an interview that the pair of tech giants had already signed on 50 "foundational" or initial clients, and the two intend to introduce their first jointly designed software apps next month.

"The level of interest from the corporate world has been incredible," Maestri said.

WAX AND WANE

Apple's fortunes, however, still largely hinge on the iPhone, which accounts for half its business, and the company's ability to again re-define markets with new technology gadgets. The Apple Watch, the company's entry in the nascent wearables category, will not hit store shelves till 2015.

Orders for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus began in September, helping Apple chalk up a 12.2 percent jump in revenue last quarter to $42.12 billion. That exceeded the roughly $39.9 billion that Wall Street analysts had predicted, on average.

The new iPhone, which comes in larger sizes and a heftier price tag, marks Apple's best product launch on record. That helped push overall smartphone sales to 39.27 million in the September quarter, beating the roughly 38 million some on Wall Street had anticipated.

Maestri said in an interview that the new iPhones, which went on sale just last week in China, had already surpassed the previous-generation model in terms of volume.

The company also posted the strongest percentage growth in Mac sales, of 21 percent to 5.5 million units, since the December quarter of 2011.  REUTERS

Russian hackers target NATO, Ukraine and others

Russian hackers target NATO, Ukraine and others

Russian hackers target NATO, Ukraine and others
BOSTON: Russian hackers exploited a bug in Microsoft Windows and other software to spy on computers used by NATO, the European Union, Ukraine and companies in the energy and telecommunications sectors, according to cyber intelligence firm iSight Partners.

ISight said it did not know what data had been found by the hackers, though it suspected they were seeking information on the Ukraine crisis, as well as diplomatic, energy and telecom issues, based on the targets and the contents of phishing emails used to infect computers with tainted files.

The five-year cyber espionage campaign is still going on, according to iSight, which dubbed the operation "Sandworm Team" because it found references to the "Dune" science fiction series in the software code used by the hackers.

The operation used a variety of ways to attack the targets over the years, iSight said, adding that the hackers began only in August to exploit a vulnerability found in most versions of Windows.

ISight said it told Microsoft Corp about the bug and held off on disclosing the problem so the software maker had time to fix it.

A Microsoft spokesman said the company plans to roll out an automatic update to affected versions of Windows on Tuesday.

There was no immediate comment from the Russian government, NATO, the EU or the Ukraine government.

Researchers with Dallas-based iSight said they believed the hackers are Russian because of language clues in the software code and because of their choice of targets.

"Your targets almost certainly have to do with your interests. We see strong ties to Russian origins here," said John Hulquist, head of iSight's cyber espionage practice. The firm plans to release a 16-page report on Sandworm Team to its clients on Tuesday.

While technical indicators do not indicate whether the hackers have ties to the Russian government, Hulquist said he believed they were supported by a nation state because they were engaging in espionage, not cyber crime.

For example, in December 2013, NATO was targeted with a malicious document on European diplomacy. Several regional governments in the Ukraine and an academic working on Russian issues in the United States were sent tainted emails that claimed to contain a list of pro-Russian extremist activities, according to iSight.

The firm said its researchers uncovered evidence that some Ukrainian government computer systems were infected, but they were unable to remotely confirm specific victims among those systems that had been targeted.

Still, researchers believe a large percentage of those targeted systems were infected because the malicious software used was very sophisticated, using a previously unknown attack method that enabled it to get past virtually all known security protections, said Drew Robinson, a senior technical analyst with iSight Partners.

ISight said it had alerted some victims of Sandworm Team, but declined to elaborate.

The iSight research is the latest in a series of private sector security reports that link Moscow to some of the most sophisticated cyber espionage uncovered to date.

Russia's Kaspersky Lab in August released details on a campaign that attacked two spy agencies and hundreds of government and military targets across Europe and the Middle East. – Reuters

Has Virgin crash set back space tourism by years?

Has Virgin crash set back space tourism by years?
WASHINGTON: The deadly crash of Virgin Galactic's spacecraft has dealt a devastating setback to the cause of space tourism, delaying the first commercial flights to the stars by years, experts said Friday.

After several delays, Virgin Galactic had hoped to start ferrying passengers to the edge of space in 2015, ushering in a new era of tourism for those willing and wealthy enough to pay up to $250,000 for the privilege.

But the pioneering dreams of British tycoon Richard Branson were left scattered across California's Mojave Desert on Friday after the disaster that claimed Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo and the life of one of its pilots.

"You are not going to see any commercial space tourism flight next year or probably several years after that," said Marco Caceres, a senior space analyst and director of space studies for the Teal Group, a Washington-based defense and aerospace consultancy.

"This certainly delays any Virgin Galactic commercial flight for at least two years or more."

He described Virgin as the leader "by far" of the nascent commercial space tourism industry.

Virgin Galactic had already lined up 650 customers for its first flights on the craft, including a slew of celebrities.

The fact that the accident came just days after a private rocket destined to take supplies to the International Space Station exploded shortly after take-off in Virginia on Tuesday will also likely hurt the space tourism industry.

"It will delay this industry and by the same token delay any commercial tourism industry to orbit because the future development of the tourism industry is hinged to suborbital flights," where passengers experience weightlessness for a few minutes and can enjoy the darkness of the cosmos while admiring the curvature of the Earth, Caceres said.

"(Suborbital tourism) will attract the attention, the excitement of the public and if you delay this, the other of course is going to be delayed."

- 'More tests needed' -

Caceres said Virgin Galactic will now need to carry out a far greater number of tests before commercial flights could become a possibility.

"Unfortunately there just have not been enough test flights with this vehicle. This was the downside," he said.

"They are doing a lot of testing on the ground but they are not doing enough in flight. They need to fly much more before they begin the commercial."

SpaceShipTwo was carried into the upper reaches of the atmosphere by a four-engine dual fuselage aircraft before being released and blasting off on a suborbital flight for around three hours. The craft is designed to carry two pilots and six passengers.

Branson had vowed to be on the first flight next year along with his son. Virgin Galactic in May obtained authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration to launch its flights from a base in New Mexico to be named "Spaceport America."

Stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Ashton Kutcher had been among those reportedly planning to take Virgin Galactic's first wave of flights.

John Logsdon, former director of the Space Policy Institute at George Washington University, said the crash would have a sobering effect.

"This will inject a note of sobriety into the enthusiasm of those who would like the spaceflight experience," Logsdon said.

"There was a whole juggernaut of ground training and private spaceports that were being set up to support an emerging space tourism industry, with a collective burst of maybe unrealistic expectations.

"This will certainly throw cold water on that."

The crash could also torpedo a reality television program being planned by US broadcaster NBC, dubbed "Space Race."

The show, announced last year, was due to follow space fans as they competed to win a free ride on SpaceShipTwo. (AFP)

Virgin 'ignored' space safety warnings: expert

Virgin 'ignored' space safety warnings: expert

Virgin 'ignored' space safety warnings: expert
LOS ANGELES: Virgin Galactic "ignored" repeated warnings in the years leading up to the deadly crash of its spacecraft in California, a rocket science safety expert said Sunday, as investigators hunted for clues to the accident.
After a second full day of investigation, the acting chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board told reporters that a lock-unlock lever on the spaceship had been moved prematurely, but emphasized that the cause of the crash was still unknown.

Carolynne Campbell, a rocket propulsion expert with the Netherlands-based International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety, said she could not speculate on the cause of Friday's crash without "all the data."

However, she said multiple warnings about the spacecraft's motor and the fuel used to power it had been issued to Virgin since 2007, when three engineers died testing a rocket on the ground.

"Based on the work we've done, including me writing a paper on the handling of nitrous oxide, we were concerned about what was going on at Virgin Galactic," she told AFP.

"I sent copies of the paper to various people at Virgin Galactic in 2009, and they were ignored."

Campbell said she outlined concerns to Virgin Galactic in a subsequent telephone conversation, but her warning again went unheeded.

"I warned them... that the rocket motor was potentially dangerous," she said.

Campbell's warnings related to nitrous oxide, reportedly used as a fuel component in the doomed craft along with a new substance derived from nylon plastic grains.

After the major setback to British tycoon Richard Branson's plans, Virgin Galactic released a statement late Sunday in which it said it was "dedicated to opening the space frontier, while keeping safety as our 'North Star.'

"This has guided every decision we have made over the past decade, and any suggestion to the contrary is categorically untrue," it said.

- 'Long way from finding cause' -

A team of NTSB investigators has been deployed to the Mojave Desert to probe Friday's crash, in which pilot Michael Alsbury was killed and co-pilot Pete Siebold was seriously injured.

"We are a long way from finding cause," NTSB acting chairman Christopher Hart told reports in Mojave Sunday evening.

But he said, a camera in the cockpit showed a lock-unlock lever used to activate a process in the spaceship's tail section had been moved by the co-pilot while the vehicle was traveling at a speed just above approximately Mach 1.0.

The lever, Hart said, was not supposed to be moved until reaching a speed of Mach 1.4.

"I am not stating this was the cause of this mishap. We have months and months of investigation to determine what the cause was," Hart said.

He added that investigators had found almost all important parts of the space vehicle, including fuel tanks, the oxidizer tank and engine, which were all intact.

- 'Safety number one priority' -

Branson said safety had always been Virgin's paramount concern.

"Safety has always been our number one priority," he said, adding that the company would not "push on blindly" with its ambitious space program until the causes of the accident had been determined.

Branson, however, took aim at early speculation of the causes of the crash.

"To be honest, I find it slightly irresponsible that people who know nothing about what they're saying can be saying things before the NTSB makes their comments," he told reporters in Mojave on Saturday.

Virgin Galactic chief executive George Whitesides also questioned the safety claims, telling the Financial Times in an interview Sunday that differences of opinion were common in the world of space flight development.

"In the space community, you will be able to find people who have favorite technologies of different types. One group will say their type of technology is better than another," the paper quoted him as saying.

"We pay a lot of attention to the several hundred engineers that we have on staff, and other expert consultants we've talked with about our technologies."

- 'No sign of explosion' -

Witnesses to Friday's crash say there was no obvious sign of an explosion before Virgin's suborbital SpaceShipTwo broke apart and hurtled to earth shortly after it had detached from a mothership at an altitude of around 45,000 feet (13,700 meters).

The crash was the second disaster to rock the private sector space industry in less than a week, after an Antares rocket carrying supplies to the International Space Station exploded after takeoff in Virginia on Tuesday.

Experts say the accident will delay the advent of commercial space tourism by several years.

Virgin Galactic had hoped to start ferrying wealthy customers to the edge of space next year, charging $250,000 per person for a ticket on the company's six-seater vehicle.

Hart said on-site investigations would last up to a week but the full probe piecing together facts and analysis "will be probably 12 months or so."
Wreckage from the crash was strewn over five miles (eight kilometers), Hart said.

Investigators hoped to yield clues to the causes of the crash from the reams of telemetry data and video footage expected to be available, Hart said. -AFP

31 Questions to Ask About Your Characters

31 Questions to Ask About Your Characters

As writers, we know more about our characters than we can ever manage to tell our readers.

Characterization is revealing the personalities of the people in your fictional world by giving evidence: facial expressions, clothing style, attitude, actions, and social interactions. These details allow your reader to make instantaneous judgments as to what kind of people your characters are.

The more you know of about your characters—the more comfortable you are with their daily habits, preferences, insecurities, mannerisms, beliefs, loves, hates, desires, histories, etc.—the easier it will be to portray them on a page. Your characters’ behaviors determine the future of your story. To know where your story is heading, you must know how your characters are going to act in certain situations, and therefore, you must know who your characters really are.

Wisely selected details can reveal character in intriguing ways. No, the reader doesn’t necessarily need to know what brand of underwear Sally prefers, what kind of vehicle Kenny drove in high school, or what secrets Ben kept from his ex-girlfriend—but YOU do. While these details may not be important to your plot line, they are indicative of certain character traits, and gives them more depth. The more you know about your character, the more authentic your character will seem on the page.

Is it possible to write a successful, meaningful story without knowing the type of alcohol Kelly keeps in her apartment? Absolutely. But somewhere in the following list may be a key piece of information that will help shape your story. Here is a list of question to ponder when fleshing out your characters:

1. How many shoes do they own? What types?
2. Are they on social media? Who’s in their profile pictures with them?
3. How many romantic relationships have they had?
4. Are they right- or left-handed?
5. What charities do they donate to?
6. What are their biggest fears?
7. How much money do they make?
8. What is their ethnicity?
9. Do they speak with an accent?
10. What did they dress as for Halloween last year?
11. What are their email addresses, blogs, and websites? Passwords?
12. What are they superstitious about?
13. Are they allergic to anything?
14. What hobbies do they have?
15. Do they keep secrets?
16. What are their astrological signs?
17. What are their taste in movies, books, and music?
18. Do they have scars?
19. What are their feelings on gay marriage, abortion, legalization of marijuana, or other controversial topics?
20. Any tattoos or piercings?
21. What does their handwriting look like?
22. What is their religious background?
23. Where do they like to shop?
24. What is their relationship like with their sibling(s)?
25. Do they have enemies? How did they make them?
26. What are their ambitions? Do they have a “five-year plan”?
27. What are their political preferences?
28. What do they habitually keep in their cupboards, medicine cabinets, and purses?
29. What are their favorite outfits/pieces of clothing?
30. What do they keep in remote storage?
31.  Are they night owls or morning people?

Here are the questions to ask yourself when crafting a headline:
  1. Would someone type my headline into Google? – If they would, then you are more likely to get more search traffic.
  2. Does my headline evoke curiosity? – Curiosity-evoking headlines tend to get more clicks.
  3. Is my headline short and to the point? – If your headline is longer than roughly 57 characters, it will get cut off on Google’s search results page.
  4. Is my headline clear? – Clarity is important. If people don’t know what they are clicking on, they will bounce right off your site.
  5. Am I using emotions? – If you can invoke a common desire within your headline, it will appeal to more people.
  6. Does my headline contain any popular keywords or phrases? – If it doesn’t, don’t expect to rank for any terms on Google.

Introduction

Every blog post should contain an introduction. Here are some of the questions to ask yourself when creating an introduction:
  1. Am I hooking my readers? – You can do this by asking a question within your introductory paragraph.
